Whether you’re a manager at a Fortune 100 company or an entrepreneur, you need a great team to succeed.
This is a given fact, but most people take it for granted. So it’s important to keep reminding your team members of the importance of collaborative teamwork.
To help you out, I put together a list of team building quotes that help inspire your team to keep them motivated.
I divided the team building quotes into two categories.
The first is a list of 6 quotes that I personally found the most powerful. They’re the ones I thought were the most enlightening when I first read them.
The second is a list of 9 more traditional team building quotes. Those are the ones you’d typically find on motivational posters.

How to use those Team Building Quotes
Here are a few ways you can use those quotes:
- In a presentation: Use a quote on a slide during an opening statement of a staff meeting call to inspire your team
- In a breakroom: Print one or two of those team building quotes out in bold font and hang them in your office breakroom as a nice reminder
- During team conflicts: When you’re on a team call and things start to get contentious, you can interject with one of those quotes to remind the team about how important teamwork is (“Let’s take a step back and remember that <insert team building quote here>”)
- In your signature: If you enjoy placing generic quotes in your email signatures, then consider including one that motivates your team (you can even mix it up every once in a while)
I hope you found those team building quotes helpful.
